OBD1 Tuner Program Description


The OBD1 Tuner program is a general purpose ECM calibration editor that allows you to make a wide variety of calibration changes to your vehicle's OBD1 ECM/PCM from an "easy-to-use" Windows arrangement. The program locates and displays the calibration parameters in standard engineering units so there's no need to work with or even understand hex and binary numbers. We've tried to make the tables simple to understand as they will often correspond to what your scan tool shows you. With the addition of the appropriate ECM Definition File, the OBD1 Tuner program supports a wide range of vehicles, from 1982 through 1995 including the LT1 and L99 Flash ECM's from the LT1 cars. Each ECM Definition file is designed to give you access to the calibration parameters required to support major engine modifications, such as camshaft upgrades, Vortec cylinder heads or Edelbrock parts, larger displacement (strokers), Injector size changes, and superchargers, etc. The sample shown below is a type $42 ECM (1227747) used in standard duty 87-91 C/K Pickup Trucks and Vans. The ECM Definition Files for the next generation of PCM's are considerably larger and include transmission control functions.




This is the ONLY software package available for editing the GM 6.5 Turbo Diesel!

DDT(TM) Tuner - [Duramax Diesel]

  • As of March 2007, the DDTuner software package is the FIRST and ONLY software editing solution for custom tuning the 1996-2003 6.5 Turbo Diesel from GM. Covers the latest 37 current calibrations from GM. This includes the VIN "S" and VIN "F" trucks, all models including the H1 Hummer/AM General
  • DDT was the first available (2003) editing and reprogramming system for the 2001-2005 Duramax Diesel, 2006 H1 and HD/MD models.
  • The DDTuner gives you the ability to read, modify and reprogram any 2001-2005 Duramax powertrain control module (PCM) including 2006 H2 with LLY.
  • Easy to browse interface without confusing icons and redundant tables.

DPS(TM) System - [Read/Write]


The Dealer Programming System or DPS(TM) consist of cables, communication interface, and software with free updates, giving you the ability to download the software of your Ford or GM vehicle powertrain control module, save the file in your computer, and email us the file for modification.

The calibration is then returned via email for upload to your client's vehicle computer. You always retain the original file if your client needs their 'stock' programming again. Retail pricing varies depending on options chosen--but your calibration cost is consistent regardless of changes requested.

The system can also include a laptop computer if so desired with everything pre-installed.

GMT2(TM) Tuner - [Complete GM]


This OBD2 Tuning program is a general purpose calibration editor that allows you to make a wide variety of calibration changes to your vehicle OBD2 type VCM/PCM/TCM from an 'easy to use' Windows environment. After reading and saving the calibration from your vehicle computer, the program locates and displays the calibration parameters in standard engineering units so there's no need to work with or even understand hex and binary numbers. We've tried to make the tables simple to understand as they will correspond to what your scan tool shows you. Features:

  • Ability to read, modify and reprogram most 1996-2019 GM powertrain control modules (PCM). This includes specific 4-Cylinder, V6 (3.1L, 3.4L, 3.8L, 4.0L, 4.2L Inline, 4.3L), V8 (4.6L, 4.8L, 5.0L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, 6.5TD, 6.6L Duramax, 7.4L, and 8.1L). The most complete programming lineup available for popular GM trucks and cars!
  • Rewrite correct VIN right in the Editor and save the corrected information without having to go back to TIS to Web to correct ECM information.
  • You can rewrite the calibration section only (faster programming), or do a complete system and calibration reflash.
  • Ability to completely clone ECU without TIS programming requirement.
  • The software automatically clears trouble codes prior to reading or writing the PCM to ensure proper communication.
